On January 1, 2025, the Section 301 China tariffs will increase for 18 Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) numbers. The HTSUS numbers and their associated rates of duty are listed below. This is the second round of three planned increases announced in September. The third planned increase will be on January 1, 2026.
Importers will need to apply the correct associated additional HTSUS to their customs entries in addition to the primary HTSUS number. These additional numbers replace any formerly used Section 301 China HTSUS (9903.88.XX).
