Final Affirmative Determination in Aluminum Extrusions AD/CVD Investigation

Aluminum Extrusions from 14 Countries Subject to Anti-Dumping Duties

On Sept 27, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced affirmative final determinations in the antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) investigations of aluminum extrusions from 14 trading partners. The notice contains final dumping rates and subsidy rates on aluminum extrusions with various exporter and producer combinations.

Next, the International Trade Commission (ITC) will examine whether a U.S. industry has been injured as a result of dumped and/or subsidized imports. If the ITC’s final determination is affirmative, Commerce will issue AD and CVD orders. The Final Determinations is expected to be announced on November 12, 2024 and if affirmative, the issuance of orders is expected to follow on November 19, 2024.
