NNR Global Logistics’ senior management team visit QPR: NNR UK stands strong with QPR Tiger Cubs
5 October 2023 4 minutes London, United Kingdom
At NNR Global Logistics, we take immense pride in being more than just a logistics company; we are committed to making a tangible difference in the communities we serve.
A notable moment in our extraordinary partnership with QPR FC occurred at the end of September 2023 during the visit to NNR UK from our very own CEO, Mr. Keiichi Utaka. During this visit, he had the distinct pleasure of meeting the remarkable QPR Tiger Cubs Team in person at the famous Loftus Road stadium. This face-to-face interaction reinforced the strong bond between NNR Global Logistics UK and the QPR, emphasising that our partnership is not just about corporate sponsorship; it’s about genuine support and connection.
Our team in London, UK has set an inspiring example of corporate responsibility, community engagement, and the power of collaboration. NNR UK’s commitment to the QPR Tiger Cubs goes beyond business – we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. QPR’s Tiger Cubs programme, established in 2007, has a profound mission – to create a multi-tier learning environment that enhances the overall physical, social, and emotional well-being of its participants.
The highlight of our shared journey with QPR was the charity match held at the iconic Loftus Road stadium. We are thrilled to share the heartwarming success story of the charity event that was held in the summer of 2023 and raised an impressive £7,500 for the Tiger Cubs – QPR’s football team dedicated to children and young people with Down’s syndrome. As the front-of-shirt sponsor for QPR FC Women, we took the initiative to organise this charitable event. The match not only drew the attention of passionate football fans but also garnered the participation of several QPR FC Women players and QPR in the Community Trust staff. Together, we united to show our unwavering support for a truly great cause.
The funds raised from the charity match went directly to the QPR Tiger Cubs, providing essential support to cover their daily expenses and assisting with future projects. These funds are not just numbers; they represent the smiles on the faces of children and young people with Down’s syndrome who get to experience the joy of playing football and the positive impact it has on their lives.
We are immensely proud of our efforts and hope that our story inspires others to step up and support causes that touch the hearts of their communities.
