NNR Global Logistics UK support QPR Tiger Cubs with £8k charity contribution!

13 May 2024 marks the day when NNR Global Logistics UK had the privilege of hosting a charity match at MATRADE Loftus Road in collaboration with QPR Tiger Cubs and QPR FC Women. Our primary objective was to raise funds for the Tiger Cubs, an initiative close to our hearts and symbolic of our commitment to community support.

The Tiger Cubs programme has been instrumental in providing young individuals with Down’s syndrome with a nurturing environment aimed at fostering their physical, social and emotional well-being.

The proceeds from the charity match have been dedicated to covering the team’s operational expenses and facilitating future projects, ensuring the continued success and growth of this invaluable programme.

The event witnessed the participation of esteemed individuals from QPR FC Women, QPR in the Community Trust and former R’s winger Lee Cook. Their presence underscored the significance of our collective efforts to champion this worthy cause.

Chloe Cooper, the Trust Inclusive Projects Officer, expressed profound gratitude for NNR’s support, emphasising the pivotal role the funds raised will play in sustaining and enhancing the Tiger Cubs programme.

Lee Griffiths, NNR UK’s President, echoed sentiments of gratitude, extending appreciation to all involved in orchestrating the event, including the dedicated QPR Trust staff and the diligent NNR team. Furthermore, he conveyed heartfelt thanks for the generous contributions from NNR’s customers, suppliers and broader QPR community.
