On February 5, 2025, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced the reversal of their temporary suspension on accepting small packages from China and Hong Kong Posts. The temporary suspension was announced the day before, February 4. Inbound parcels from both countries through the mail service have been resumed.

The USPS and Customs and Border Protection are working closely together to implement an efficient collection mechanism for the new China tariffs to ensure the least disruption to package delivery.”

What to Expect

If you have small parcels coming through the mail with goods made in China or Hong Kong, you will be notified that your shipment will require a customs entry before it can be delivered.

We recommend contacting a customs broker like NNR Global Logistics for customs entry service.
